Update: Moving to Tumblr!

Hey guys!

I created a new Tumblr for my kimono stuff! ^__^

I find Tumblr to be more user-friendly for short posts, so while I will keep this blog for longer posts, I'll most likely stick to using Tumblr for simple posts, eg. outfits, coordination ideas, stuff I want, stuff I like, stuff I just got, etc.

To start with, I've just made my first post on my 2013 additions to my yukata collection!

As and when I find time (I am actually pretty busy at work at the moment), I will go through my old posts on this blog and start re-posting some of them onto Tumblr.

This is exciting! It's rekindling my love for kimono, which has admittedly dropped over the past few years ^^;

Blog Restructuring

My T&T post on kimono fit is moving on really slowly (can’t tell you how many times I’ve rewritten the thing only to delete it all and start over again ^^;) so I thought I’d just move on and post about something else instead.

I got bored over the weekend and did up a table of post ideas – and I have to say that I have a lot of ideas on what to post, and no idea on where to start! So I figured reorganizing everything so that my blog is more structured would be a great place to begin with, and it’ll certainly help me see what areas I ought to work on first.

As such, I’m now in the middle of reorganizing my blog – adding new tags, editing titles, etc. I’m also updating my sidebar to reflect some of the changes.... Although I'll have to continually update my Tips & Tricks series and the upcoming Kimono Knowledge series as I write and post them, which will eventually happen (in like maybe ten years or so, at the rate I’m going XD;)

Anyway! I’m looking forward to having a more organized blog XD; Maybe it’ll inspire me to write more or something as well haha.

Layout Change~

Just a random post to say that I've changed my blog layout again :) Navigation is mostly the same, but the looks are very different now. I got a little tired of looking at the same small frame for the body, and it was really too small for alot of my photos, so I just used one of Blogspot's pre-set layout designs ^^;

I'm quite happy with the current colour scheme - yellow is so cheery and happy, yet this shade is particularly peaceful and calming at the same time.

Delays

Hmmm I'm supposed to be posting about Bon Odori 2010, but I can't figure out how to work the new Flickr layout ^^;;;; I did try taking the "tour" but it doesn't seem to work on my com o_O???

So my picture & events posts will be a little delayed till I can putter around and "fix" it ^^;

Layout changed!

Okay, I'm done playing around! The blog shouldn't look funky anymore :)

After having a dark background with light-coloured fonts as a layout for so long, I finally decided I'd like to have a sweeter blog. I found the background image in my clipart program today, so I decided to do something about it, and voila! A new layout.

I'm still not 100% satisfied with the background image. I'll probably change it again sometime, when I can figure out how to make one that suits my tastes. For now, it'll remain the same picture in repeat.

I got the basis of this layout from this page of this site, , using my old layout, just with different colours and a few different settings.

Eh, comments and crit please! If you find the pink hurts your eyes too much, or the words are difficult to read, please let me know! ^_^

Changing Layout
